ECB to continue cutting rates in December, Stournaras says

ATHENS (Reuters) – The European Central Bank is expected to continue cutting interest rates this month, ECB policymaker Yannis Stournaras said on Monday.

“Apparently, we will continue cutting interest rates in December,” Stournaras, the governor at the Bank of Greece and one of the doves on the ECB’s Governing Council who favours lower rates, told a conference in Athens run by a Greek financial website.
